We stock all types of wooden bed slats

There are two types of Wooden Bed Slats available. They are Solid Pine Bed Slats and Beech Sprung Bed Slats.

Solid Wooden Pine Bed Slats

Wooden Pine Bed Slats are the most common bed slats used in the UK. Our Wooden Pine Bed Slats are sold in sets of 11 slats (standard) and 14 Slats (deluxe). These are webbed together, so they automatically spread out evenly and you only need to attach the first and last wooden pine slats to the bed frame and the rest will stay in place.

If you have an expensive mattress you may be require to have the gap between the slats at a certain distance. We are able to remanufacture the bed slats exactly to your individual requirements if required.

Our Standard sizes do NOT necessarily mean they will fit your bed. All bed manufacturers make their beds to their own specification. We do stock the most common sizes used. We also offer a cutting and re-webbing service to make sure we can meet your size requirements and ensure are able to replace your broken wooden bed slats.

Our Solid Pine Bed slats are ideal slats that can be used for replacing slats on IKEA bed frames.

Please take accurate measurements before ordering.

The gaps between your wooden bed slats are very important; we highly recommended our deluxe pine slats as opposed to our standard pine slats. Ideally, all 4ft 6 (double), 5ft (King) and 6ft (Super King) bed slats require a centre rail; please look at our range of centre rail solutions if you do not currently got one.

Wooden Beech Sprung Bed Slats

Beech Sprung Bed Slats are the most widely used wooden bed slats used all over Europe. Our wooden Beech Sprung Bed Slats are sold individually or in value 10 packs. We stock these slats at 915mm long; making these suitable for all standard UK bed Sizes when cut down.

We only stock top quality wooden Beech Sprung Bed Slats; which are the preferred species of wood used on Sprung Bed Slats. When purchasing wooden sprung bed slats, it is important to distinguish beech slats over birch or poplar bed slats; as birch and popular are an inferior wood compared to beech, meaning they are a lot more likely to break and lose the curve/ spring. For this reason, when replacing your bed slats; we only stock Beech Sprung Bed Slats.

The most common Wooden Sprung Bed Slats used in the UK are 53mm wide and 63mm wide. We stock both sizes and 38mm. 8mm is the standard thickness used in the bedding industry. All our Bed Slats are sourced from reputable Manufacturers across Europe.

All Wooden Sprung Bed Slats should be fastened to the bed using Bed Slat Holders and should NOT be screw straight onto the bed frame. We hold a large variety of Bed slat holders to fit all bed slats.
