DESCRIPTIONS AND PRODUCT INFORMATION
At bedslats.co.uk we do our very best to ensure that the product information that you see on our website is as accurate as possible. The Images used for our products are for illustration purposes only. Please ensure that you check the size of your bed before placing your order. If you require any help regarding your bed size, types of suitable slats a member of our Sales team will be delighted to help.
Our full range of bed slats are usually In Stock at all times and ready for immediate dispatch. Other Slatted bed bases are made to order in your desired sizes, We hold stock of the necessary components to make the bases. As soon as the order is placed it will go into the production process. If for any reason your product is unavailable a member of our team will contact you immediately to explain the situation and advise when the order can be fulfilled. If you are not happy with the date then we can cancel the order on your request. We aim to have all orders delivered within 21 days from the order being placed. With the majority of orders you can expect to receive your order within 14 days of purchase.
You can cancel any order that are stock items within 7 days of placing the order and return any items back to us. Please send all returns clearly labelled and ensure they are packed properly so they reach us in a sellable conditions. All refunds will be processed within 7 days of the product getting back to us. Please send all returns to Bed Slats T/A, Headboards Ltd, Unit 3, 73 Canning Road, Harrow, Middlesex, HA3 7SP Under the Distance of Selling Regulations 2000 you do not have the right to cancel your order if the order is a custom order. By Custom order we mean if the order is for bed slats or bed bases and they are made to order in your specified number of slats or cut to your specific dimensions and not of Standard Sizes. We stock loose slats, once the order has been received the slats are then cut to size and if applicable webbed together depending on the number of slats chosen in the set. These slats are custom made to order. We retain the right to apply a charge of 20% of the cancelled order value to cover the time taken to pick item, pack item, unpack item and restock the item in the warehouse. This will also cover the administration and handling costs involved in the cancellation of orders.
Bedslats.co.uk accept all major credit and debit cards for payment of our items in the online store. We take our customers’ security very seriously and want you to feel safe purchasing online. For this reason we use various leading online payment gateway providers to remotely process all our online transactions. All major Debit and Credit Cards are accepted. Headboards Ltd only receives confirmation that payment has been made and receives no details about the card itself. All card numbers are encrypted at rest with AES-256. Decryption keys are stored on separate machines. If your card transaction fails our stringent security checks for any reason, no money will leave your account and we reserve the right to place the order on hold. Don’t worry; in these circumstances a member of our customer service team will contact you to discuss an alternative method of payment. Once full payment has been received we will accept your order and within a matter of weeks your order will be delivered.
We are specialist and bespoke manufacturer of Beds, Headboards and Bed Slats and do not have our own couriers. We rely upon the services of third party couriers and Royal Mail, whilst we endeavour to always deliver in a timely manner there are unfortunately a few occasions when the couriers and Royal Mail fail to deliver on the appointed day and before the specified time. This rarely happens however we cannot be held responsible for the late delivery of an item, or any costs incurred by customers/tradesmen unable to work, please ensure you have your materials before booking in any trades. Our commitment to you is to deliver the product to the courier. Tracking numbers are available for all orders sent via the courier network. When buying larger items once your order is ready for dispatch we will contact you either by phone or email to arrange a suitable day for delivery. We can not dispatch any large goods such as drop in bed bases until we have spoken to the customer and pre arranged a suitable day for delivery. Once your order has been booked in for delivery it is your responsibility to ensure there is someone at the property to sign for the parcel, if the delivery is missed and the item is returned back to us we reserve the right to charge for re delivery. Once we have arranged a suitable day for delivery we dispatch all goods so that they arrive on your chosen day. We shall not be liable for failed deliveries which are due to reasons beyond our reasonable control due to third party services. All our orders are dispatched using either DX or Parcel Force Courier services which are two of the leading courier companies servicing the United Kingdom. We are able to offer you your chosen midweek day for delivery; however we are unable to specify an AM or PM delivery. Please ensure that care is taken when opening your parcel, Please take extra care if using a knife or sharp object to open the package. It is the customer’s responsibility to inspect the Box before signing for the parcel. Please ensure the box is in good condition when accepting deliveries from our couriers. If the box is damaged, please mark the box as Damaged or refuse delivery.
