Our Second Generation Double Row Kit is ideal when manufacturing a new bed frame or for converting flat bed slats to sprung bed slats on an existing bed frame.  

This Double Row Sprung Bed Slat Kit is designed for two sleepers

Our Second Generation Double Row Kit consist of

2 Beech Ply Multiplex Rails; Pre-Drilled 
1 Solid Beech Centre Rails; Pre-Drilled for Holders and machined for Centre Rail Brackets
60 Quality Beech Sprung Bed Slats (38mm x 8mm) - May vary depending on the length specified
60 Twin Pocket Slat Holders, which are doweled using Pegs into the rails to add strength and durability

Technical Information

Rail - 50mm x 20mm x 2000mm (Height including holders 67mm)

Centre Rail - 70mm x 35mm (Height including holders 87mm)

Gap in between Slats - Approximately 25mm

Optional Extras

Optional: Adjustable slat tension in the lumbar region

Second Generation adjustable tensions adjusters are placed in the lumber region to further improve your comfort level. These are also known as “rigidity adjusters”. There are three beech sprung slats per double slat holder with two second generation sliding tension adjusters. These tension adjusters in the lumber region, allow the sleeper to manually adjust the firmness of the bed in the lumbar region to their preference. Another added benefit is that you can adjust the tension independently from your partner.

Optional: Shoulder Zone Components 

Our Special Shoulder Zone Components are a silent system, which is spring free meaning it is noise free. These components are able to rotate on both sides, and are able to be pushed down up to 23mm including the rotation. This will dramatically improve comfort and reduce pressure in the shoulder region.

We offer a cutting service where we are able to cut the length of the side rails to your exact length 

We are also able to cut the Beech Sprung Bed Slat down 

Bed Slat Length

Measure the inside edge of your size rail to the inside edge of the other side rail;

(minus) 118mm (divide) 2

For Examples 

If inside edge of your size rail to the inside edge of the other side rail is 1500mm.

1500mm - 118mm = 1382mm

1382 / 2 = 691mm

Your slats will need to be cut down to 691mm, if your internal bed size is 1500mm
