Our Drop-In Flat Pine Bed Slatted Bed Base is a strong and durable replacement base designed for bed frames that require solid pine bed slats. The base is constructed from high-quality pine slats that run horizontally across the bed frame, with two supporting vertical slats running the length of the base to keep all slats securely aligned and in position.
This design creates a rigid and reliable slatted bed base that simply drops into the bed frame, providing excellent mattress support.
Strong Bolt-Fixed Construction
Each pine slat is predrilled using a counterbore drill bit, ensuring the bolt heads sit flush within the wood so they do not protrude above the surface. This provides a neat finish while also creating a very strong and secure fixing system.
The two vertical support slats feature steel threaded inserts, allowing the bolts to fasten securely and repeatedly without damaging the wood.
